Johnny Palermo, 27, dies in a car accident in North Hollywood, California.

Actor Johnny Palermo, who appeared in more than 30 television shows in his brief career, died June 8 in an early morning.

Johnny Palermo's girlfriend, Alessandra Giangrande, who was driving at the time, also was killed, and her brother suffered serious injuries.

Johnny Palermo and Alessandra Giangrande were pronounced dead at the scene.

Johnny Palermo was a regular on the Nickelodeon series ‘Just for Kicks’ and appeared in three episodes of the CW`s ‘Everybody Hates Chris’ as Frank DiPaolo, Chris` overgrown classmate.

Johnny Palermo also appeared in ‘Cold Case,’ ‘General Hospital,’ ‘CSI: Miami,’ ‘Rules of Engagement,’ ‘How I Met Your Mother’ and ‘CSI: NY.’ This fall, the native of Rochester, NY, can be seen in the indie film ‘Pizza With Bullets.’

Carrie Prejean says Lewis told her Playboy offered $140,000 for Carrie Prejean pose semi-nude. Carrie Prejean rejected both offers.

Carrie Prejean said they wanted me out and they got what they wanted. A few minutes ago we talked to Lewis who said he was not pushing her to take either gig — but merely passing the offers along. Lewis said Carrie Prejean had insisted they not turn anything down without running it by her.

Carrie Prejean, who told us she was “shocked” at the news she was fired and learned about it only after we broke the story — tells us she has been more than cooperative with pageant officials.

Carrie Prejean says, “What’s behind this I think is a political debate. They don’t agree with the stance that I took on Prop 8. Shanna [Moakler] is trying to bash me. They don’t like me. From day one they wanted me out and they got what they wanted.”

Carrie Prejean also told us she couldn’t believe Donald Trump would say she treated people in the pageant “like s**t.” For the record, Trump did tell Harvey Levin that on the phone earlier today. Carrie Prejean said if Trump really feels that way she’s sorry, adding: “I’ve shown respect for every party involved, even when they haven’t shown it back.”

Carrie Prejean went on: “I was very respectful of people even when they slandered me and humiliated me. I have not once stooped down to their level.”

Miss Malibu, Tami Farrell now be taking over as the newly crowned Miss California. Former Miss CA Carrie Prejean lost her title today, after month’s of controversy and “breach of contract” issues.

Originally from Phoenix Oregon, Tami Farrell, the 24 year-old won her first Miss Teen Oregon title in 2002 as apart of the Miss USA Teen Pageant. In 2003, (Miss Malibu) Tami Farrell captured the Miss Teen USA title and was also awarded Miss Congeniality that same year.

Tami Farrell (often misspelled Ferrell) later relocated to Los Angeles to further her career in entertainment. In 2005, Tami Farrell moved to NY to attend the New York School for Film and Television. One of her many career highlights is making a guest appearance on the NBC soap opera Passions.

After relocating to Los Angeles, CA and pursuing a career in the entertainment industry, Tami Farrell ended up winning Miss Malibu USA 2009. Tami Farrell fell short of Prejean in the Miss California contest and came in 2nd.

The rumor is that Carrie will lose her crown today and it will be handed over to Miss Malibu Tami Farrell.

Lisa Ling's sister Laura Ling and Euna Lee were convicted in last week's trial and sentenced to 12 years intensifying the reclusive nation's confrontation with the United States. Laura Ling and Euna Lee will be at North Korean prison.

Calling it a "grave crime they committed against the Korean nation and their illegal border crossing," the Central Court of North Korea convicted and sentenced the two reporters in a trial that began last Thursday. The U.S. State Department said that outside observers were not allowed to witness the trial's proceedings.

Friends and family of Laura Ling and Euna Lee insist that their border crossing was accidental and have been publicly pleading with the North Koreans for mercy in recent days.

Current TV employees, including company Chairman Al Gore, had been ordered by their legal team to remain quiet about the situation with Lisa Ling and Euna Lee, a stance that they held fast to both individually and as a company, despite some public outcry.

Gore spokeswoman Kalee Kreider said the former vice president has no comment. The South Korean government also did not comment. Alanna Zahn, a spokeswoman for the journalists' families, said the family members have no immediate comment.

The two were reporting about the trafficking of women at the time of their arrest, and it's unclear if they strayed into the North or were grabbed by aggressive border guards who crossed into China.

U.S. State Department spokesman Ian Kelly said Washington was trying to confirm press reports of the sentencing.

Kelly said the U.S. was "deeply concerned" about the sentences and that officials would "engage in all possible channels" to free the women.

Josephine Baker (June 3, 1906 – April 12, 1975) was an African American expatriate entertainer and actress. Josephine Baker became a French citizen in 1937. Most noted as a singer, Josephine Baker also was a celebrated dancer in her early career. Josephine Baker was given the nicknames the "Bronze Venus" or the "Black Pearl", as well as the "Créole Goddess" in anglophone nations. In France, Josephine Baker has always been known as "La Baker".

Josephine Baker was the first African American female to star in a major motion picture, to integrate an American concert hall, and to become a world-famous entertainer. Josephine Baker is also noted for her contributions to the Civil Rights Movement in the United States (Josephine Baker was offered the leadership of the movement by Coretta Scott King in 1968 following Martin Luther King, Jr.'s assassination, but turned it down), for assisting the French Resistance during World War II and being the first American-born woman to receive the French military honor, the Croix de Guerre.

Josephine Baker was born Freda Josephine McDonald in St. Louis, Missouri, the daughter of Carrie McDonald. Josephine Baker's true ethnic background is unknown. Her father's identity is debated among historians. Nevertheless her estate credits vaudeville drummer Eddi Carson as her natural father, but according to a biography written by her foster son Jean-Claude Baker:
“ … (Josephine Baker's) father was identified (on the birth certificate) simply as "Edw" I think Josephine's father was white, so did Josephine, so did her family, people in St. Louis say that (Josephine's mother) had worked for a German family (around the time she became pregnant). (Carrie) let people think Eddie Carson was the father, and Carson played along, but Josephine knew better. ”

Josephine Baker's mother, Carrie, was adopted in Little Rock, Arkansas in 1886 by Richard and Elvira McDonald, both of whom were former slaves of both African and Native American descent.

When Josephine Baker was eight she was sent to work for a white woman who abused her, burning Josephine Baker's hands when she put too much soap in the laundry. Josephine Baker later went to work for another woman.

Josephine Baker dropped out of school at the age of 12 and lived as a street child in the black slums of St. Louis, sleeping in cardboard shelters and scavenging for food in garbage cans. Her street-corner dancing attracted attention and success for her, and Josephine Baker was recruited for the St. Louis Chorus vaudeville show at 15. Josephine Baker then headed to New York City during the Harlem Renaissance, performing at the Plantation Club and in the chorus of the popular Broadway revues Shuffle Along (1921) and The Chocolate Dandies (1924). Josephine Baker performed as the last dancer in a chorus line, a position in which the dancer traditionally performed in a comic manner, as if they were unable to remember the dance, until the encore, at which point they would not only perform it correctly, but with additional complexity. Josephine Baker was then billed as "the highest-paid chorus girl in vaudeville."

On October 2, 1925, Josephine Baker opened in Paris at the Théatre des Champs-Élysées, where Josephine Baker became an instant success for her erotic dancing and for appearing practically nude on stage. After a successful tour of Europe, Josephine Baker reneged on her contract and returned to France to star at the Folies Bergères, setting the standard for her future acts. Josephine Baker performed the Danse sauvage, wearing a costume consisting of a skirt made of a string of artificial bananas.

Josephine Baker's success coincided (1925) with the Exposition des Arts Décoratifs, which gave us the term "Art Deco", and also with a renewal of interest in ethnic forms of art, including African. Josephine Baker represented one aspect of this fashion. Josephine Baker was very creative and loved sequins and feathers.

In later shows in Paris Josephine Baker was often accompanied on stage by her pet cheetah, Chiquita, who was adorned with a diamond collar. The cheetah frequently escaped into the orchestra pit, where it terrorized the musicians, adding another element of excitement to the show.

Heroes star Hayden Panettiere wants kids - is Hayden Panettiere pregnant now?

Nope (at least I don't think so)! But she does wants children, four to be exact. However, when she does have kids she doesn't want them to be in showbiz.

Hayden told In Style, "I always said I want four kids, I love kids.

"I would love to be a mum and to have a family - for Italians, it's the most important thing you can have."

Panettiere added, "I think you have to be a pretty strong person to enter the industry that young and not be affected by it.

"I was lucky, but I'd never want my kids to be subject to that much criticism at such a young age."

Hayden Leslie Panettiere was born on 21st August 1989 in Palisades, New York. She still lives in New York with her parents, Lesley Vogel and Skip Panettiere, and younger brother Jansen Panettiere. Her mom got her started in the business by doing commercials when she was just 11 months old.

Hayden Panettiere thought she may have been pregnant but a subsequent pregnancy test came back negative. The friction caused by the scare is said to have been the cause of the couple parting ways after a year together.

Then, at only 4 1/2, she was cast on the soap opera "One Life to Live" (1968), where she remained until 1997. Since then, she has gone on to appear in many feature films and TV movies. But she is probably best known in the United States for her role as "Claire" on the hit TV show "Heroes" (2006/II).

As for movies, Hayden starred in Remember the Titans (2000) with Denzel Washington and Joe Somebody (2001) with Tim Allen. When Hayden isn't working, she enjoys singing, dancing, horseback riding, gymnastics, taking piano lessons, and swimming.

She has been involved with many animated movies, beginning with A Bug's Life (1998) as "Dot", later to follow was Dinosaur (2000), the video game Kingdom Hearts (2002) (VG), and The Mark of Kri (2002) (VG). Her next movie is Racing Stripes (2005), a partly animated film, but Hayden will star in the human role; other cast members include the voices of Whoopi Goldberg, Dustin Hoffman, Joshua Jackson and Mandy Moore.

In 2003, she joined the likes of Jessica Lange, Tom Wilkinson, and Clancy Brown in Jane Anderson's Normal (2003) (TV) a film about a Midwestern husband and father who announces his plans to have a sex-change operation. In July of the same year, Hayden appeared in a John Guare play, "Landscape of the Body", for the Williamstown theater festival in Williamstown, Massachusetts.

I hate how people say I'm growing up fast.

You go on these Internet blogs and people say the meanest things. I'm a normal person. Just because I'm in the spotlight doesn't mean I'm God's gift to the world. I'm learning and making mistakes just like every other 17-year-old girl out there.

The funny thing is that people see one film like Racing Stripes (2005) or Ice Princess (2005) and all of a sudden, slip me into this category of "that's what she's always involved in" but people don't remember that I did Normal (2003) (TV) with Jessica Lange and Tom Wilkinson for HBO, which was very dramatic. They don't remember that I did Lies My Mother Told Me (2005) (TV) which was the Lifetime film with Joely Richardson and Colm Feore, which was also extremely dramatic. They don't remember that I did Remember the Titans (2000).

I know it's really gory, and a lot of people's stomachs will probably not like me for it, but that is just awesome, just being able to be bloodied up and have different body parts put on. That's right up my alley. It's so awesome.

I think at the age I'm at, it's really hard for a film career, and I'm at a point in my life where I thought it would be a good idea to be a part of a good show and to be able to finish school.

Here's Bai Ling on the set of Crank 2, basically being herself in all these pictures. And yes, that includes all the Bai Ling nipple slips going on. After all, when is Bai Ling not showing evryone her incredibly large nipples? And while there are plenty of actual nipple slip moments here, Bai Ling doesn't leave anything to chance, and lifts her shirt up high just to be sure.

Now, after seeing Amy Smart's nipple slip, and Amy Smart topless in nipple tape, I think they should officially change the name of the movie to Crank 2: Attack of the Nipples. I'm sure that would help sell a few tickets.

Evangeline Lilly, who is likely only known to fans who have watched the overacting little imp ham her way through the past five seasons of "Lost" as pouty Kate Austen, says she's not a big movie star by choice.

I couldn't possibly sum up Lilly's self-absorbed delusional over-estimation of herself better she does. In the June issue of Women's Health, Lilly says:

"[The 'Lost' producers] have seen that I haven't picked up on the opportunity to become a big movie star. It frustrates [them] that they've given me this chance to become the next Angelia Jolie ... Sure, I'd love to be her, but just the humanitarian side."

Ahahahahahhaa. And we thought she'd hit maximum self importance when she said in 2007 that she almost left "Lost" because she was sick of being famous.

In Lilly's defense, the one-time missionary does say she plans to quit acting and focus on humanitarian work once "Lost" ends its six season run in 2010. And, based on the footage below -- from Lilly's pre-"Lost" days as a Canadian singles chatline pitchwoman -- that may be her greatest humanitarian act of all:
