Two and a Half Men star's ex-wife, Sarah Trigger, was arrested early this morning at her home in Hermosa Beach, Calif., for felony child neglect. According to a spokesman for the Hermosa Beach Police Department, Sarah Trigger was taken into custody after police responded to reports of an injured child.
Sarah Trigger, a British-born actress whose credits include Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey and an episode of CSI: Miami, was booked on one count of felony child neglect and bail was set at $100,000.
Police would not confirm the identity of the hurt child, that child in question had marks around his neck made by a rope or cord. Jon Cryer and Sarah Trigger do have an 8-year-old son, Charlie Austin, but TMZ claims he was not the injured party.
The Department of Children and Family Services is on the case and the child is said to be "in a safe environment."
Jon Cryer and Sarah Trigger tied the knot in 1999 and divorced five years later. The Pretty in Pink star has since remarried, swapping vows in 2007 with entertainment reporter Lisa Joyner.
