PHOTO! Here is the beautiful Kelli Finglass, Dallas Cheerleaders director, who is interviewing new cheerleaders for the team. Kelli Finglass offers insight into the positions that are a dream for any cheerleader. And the qualifications are much harder than you think.
To start, there is an audition test. The cheerleading test was recently given to ink a potential spot on the new 2009-2010 squad that includes roughly 100 questions on the NFL and the Cowboys (both team and cheerleaders).
That will reduce the potentials to 45 for the training camp, and thereafter reduced to 36, she tells the Dallas Morning News.
“We’re obviously looking for dynamic performers, but there’s so much involved in this job that has nothing to do with dance. That’s why we have to take a more wide-ranging approach in the audition.”
She herself filled the position for five years in the 1980s.
