The action-savvy Bloodgood also helped bring teenage boy fantasies to life playing Det. Maya Sunee in Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li.
Why So Fresh? Terminator Salvation, the latest installment of the perpetually massive Terminator franchise, puts Bloodgood alongside stars like Sam Worthington and the rogue prince of action heroes Christian Bale. In other words, this flick is big time, and should up Bloodgood's movie stardom, too.
In Her Own Words: On her Terminator role, Bloodgood tells 1up.com, “The thing about Blair that I really liked is that she is also an idealist. She understands that the world is not what it was, but she’s not going to lose hope, she’s not going to use humanity, and she is, in a way trying to instill a sense of that in John Connor because she believes in him in a way that he doesn’t believe in himself yet, and both the movie and the videogame is about the becoming of John Connor."
Why We Love Her: This former Laker girl is an exotic beauty of Irish, Korean and Dutch ancestry, but she doesn’t get by on vapid hot chick roles. Instead, she’s played detectives, cops, videogame characters -- plus, a Viking looker in the Pathfinder movie. Yep, that's range.
