Amanda Brumfield has been charged with child neglect in the death of a one-year old. Amanda Brumfield was babysitting.

Amanda Brumfield told police the baby died in October, following a fall from her playpen. Amanda Brumfield told that after the baby had fallen, she discovered her tongue bleeding, so she cleaned it with a paper towel and began playing with the child. However, the Ocoee Police Department isn't buying the tale.

Amanda Brumfield then said she laid the child on the couch next to her and fell asleep. When she woke up, she discovered the child's body was limp.

An autopsy determined, the child suffered a fractured skull and a subdural hematoma due to blunt trauma.Police records indicate that the emergency call did not take place until two and a half hours after the original fall.

The man detained by Kansas police as a "person of interest" in their probe of the murder of abortion doctor George Tiller has been identified as Scott Roeder.

Johnson County Sheriff's deputies stopped Scott Roeder on I-35 between the two main Gardner exits around 1:30 p.m. Scott Roeder surrendered without incident. Deputies did not find any weapons on Scott Roeder.

According to Phannestiel, Scott Roeder is on temporary hold for Sedgwick County at the Johnson County New Century Detention Center near Gardner. Scott Roeder is considered a person of interest at this time.

Scott Roeder involved with Operation Rescue in some way. Obviously that doesn’t mean they’re to blame, but if you convince your followers that somebody is a mass murderer and is doing it legally…you think something bad might happen?

Sometime soon, would it be feasible to organize as many people as possible to attend George Tillers church (inside, not just outside) to have much more of a presence and possibly ask questions of the Pastor, Deacons, Elders and members while there? Doesn’t seem like it would hurt anything but bring more attention to Georger Tiller.

George Tiller, 67, was shot just after 10 a.m. at Reformation Lutheran Church at 7601 E. 13th, where George Tiller was a member of the congregation. Witnesses and a police source confirmed George Tiller was the victim.

The suspect who killed Dr. George Tiller now are in custody in the shooting death of late-term abortion provider George Tiller. The suspect is currently facing one count of murder and two counts of aggravated assault for threatening onlookers who tried to intervene.

Geroger Tiller has long been a focal point of protest by abortion opponents because George Tiller's clinic, Women's Health Care Services at 5701 E. Kellogg, is one of the few in the country where late-term abortions are performed.

"I am shocked and outraged by the murder of Dr. George Tiller as George Tiller attended church services this morning. However profound our differences as Americans over difficult issues such as abortion, they cannot be resolved by heinous acts of violence." Obama said.

"George Tiller is one of the two doctors in the country that specializes in the very small percentage of abortions performed late in pregnancy (but before viability) done for health reasons, usually because the pregnancy is a danger to a woman's health or life, or because the fetus is dead or dying. George Tiller been shot in both arms, stalked by the attorney general's office under Phill Kline, and charged with the crime of performing a bunch of illegal abortions, for which he was acquitted."

George Tiller, in other words, worked past the constant threats of violence to provide a service to women that few would. Today, George Tiller was apparently murdered for his efforts.

Abortion opponents also questioned then-Gov. Kathleen Sebelius' ties to George Tiller before the Senate confirmed her this year as U.S. Health and Human Services Secretary. George Tiller donated thousands of dollars to Sebelius over the years.
